 Letter from the President, Bruce Justinen. I have just returned from the Big Island of Hawaii! What a wonderful island, so beautiful, both above and below the water. Volcano National Park was amazing; the lush vegetation of the Hilo side was breath taking; and the contrast with the warmth of Kona makes you wonder whether you’re on a different island. But nothing above prepares you for the diving, especially the rush of sensory overload that washes your mind and body when diving with the manta rays of Manta Heaven. Mere words cannot describe diving in close proximity to six manta rays as they “fly” about, straining the Pacific for the ever-present plankton. What an experience! The lure of the water, even after all these years, (I bought my first mask when I was 9 and it was bigger than I was) is still irresistible to me. Those of you who know me are aware that my faith is important to me and I want to express my gratitude to our Creator for giving us such beauty both above and below the ocean’s surface. I also want to thank all of you for your support of SEASOFT SCUBA in 2007. Thank you for having confidence in our products; we want you to know that we work hard to earn that trust. For 2008, we continue our growth and innovation with new BCs, both in the SEA LION and PRO lines with a new size. Our new SMALL size will fit from 45 to 180 lbs. and includes a removable crotch strap for the little ones. If you have not tried one of SEASOFT’s BCs, you are missing out on a BC that is configured to fit you perfectly.
